1- Which of the following is 500th term of the pattern given below?

We can easily see that there is a pattern of 6 digits i.e. 1,4,2,8,5,7

So the pattern repeats after every 6 digits

Divide 500 by 6 as we have to find out the 500th term

After dividing,  the we get 2 as remainder and 83 as quotient

So in the pattern, 4 is on the 2nd number and becomes the 500th term of pattern

Answer= 4

2- In the series of 2, 1, 1/2, ¼…, what will come next?

We can see that half of the number is being reduced in the every next number

So after 2 comes 1, after 1 comes ½, after ½ comes ¼ and after ¼ there will be 1/8 as the fifth number in the series

Answer= 1/8

3- In the series 53, 53, 40, 40, 27, 27…, what should come next?

Firstly there is a repetition of the same digit in the very next number i.e. 57, 57

Secondly the difference between two differing numbers is of 13 numbers

So we conclude that while 27 has fulfilled the demand of first provision; it comes in the second one

So a number 13 digits below from 27 is 14

Answer= 14

Answer= P is the wife of G

5- Pointing to a photograph of a boy Ali said, “He is the son of the only son of my mother.” How is Ali related to that boy?

Let’s start to solve the relation from the end of the direct speech of Ali i.e. from mother

Ali is telling my mother had only 1 son so it makes clear Ali is the only son of his mother

Further the son of the only son is Ali’s son, hence Ali is the Father

Answer= Ali is the father of the boy in photograph
