MASTERS IN ECONOMICS M. PHIL (NDU) IN PROGRESS

SARA N. BAJWA The writer is an Islamabad based scholar having primary interest in modern day challenges of governance, political economy and public policy issues. At present, she is working on her M Phil thesis titled as, "Impact of democratic governance on socio-economic indicators in Pakistan". The writer holds a masters degree in Economics and doing Mphil in Government and Public Policy from National Defense University, Islamabad. She has worked at Pakistan Bureau of Statistics as Statistical officer in "Re basing of National accounts project". Later she remained engaged as Program officer in Pak-voter project at the the Center for Peace and Development Initiatives. She has written blogs on contemporary issues for "Society for Research and Development" and has visited many Asian and European countries to make comparative observation of their governance models and civic engagement mechanisms.
